Several TV channels and online broadcasts are now available for beach volleyball events. LAOLA1 TV and Spobox feature many grand slam events in their schedule of coverage while Eurosport has some fantastic matches available in standard definition as well as HD. In the UK, the BBC provides limited live feeds, more so for the Olympics but channels such as NBC, ESPN and other sports networks broadcast live events from FIVB such as the World Tour and other beach/sand circuits. As expected, Brazil lead the way in the men's top 40 and are in 2nd place in the female rankings. Russia, Poland, Cuba and the USA are the other top four while the women's list finds China, Italy, Japan and Germany. This year's top beach and indoor players and medallists include Germany's Julios Brink and Jonas Reckermann, Brazil's Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego and Latvia's Martins Plavins and Janis Smedins. Top of the women indoor and beach rankings include Kerry Walsh, Misty May-Treanor, Jennifer Kessy and April Ross from the United States as well as Juiana Felisberta and Larissa Franca from Brazil.
