Current Season
Former Playing great and fan legend Ally McCoist took the managerial helm at the start of the 2011/2012 SPL campaign. The Rangers goal scoring talisman from the 90's was taking over from Walter Smith who had just finished his second successful tenure at the club.
The Gers started slowly but quickly found momentum under their new gaffer and it seemed as though they would be claiming the SPL title come May. However in recent weeks the wheels have come off and the club have slipped from their pedestal, and as 2012 progresses they need to regain form if they are to taste success at the end of the season.
