With some exciting action occuring in Greece today it’s likely that Olympiacos will be watching the other games closely while the side must win to ensure they remain leaders of the Super League. Undefeated in five matches, the side will look to continue their recent form as they face an Aris side who have seen a couple of dissappointing results come their way as of late and will need to get back on form if they hope to be in the running for a European spot come the end of the season.
A 0-0 home draw with German side Leverkusen delivered Aris a point in Europe and while the side will regret not taking chances and gaining the win, the result will have been a boost after an abysmal display saw them lose 4-0 in their previous league encounter at home.
With a win desperately needed for Aris FC, travelling away from home to face the Piraeus club is probably not the tie that the club would have hoped for and most will see nothing other than an Olympiacos win for today’s game.
